Urban Boxing League Inaugural Fight Night
It was a lofty goal to legitimize the movement.
It wasn’t easy rejecting the stigma or contending with the pushback, but we did it!
December 8, 2024 the Urban Boxing League presented a 100% legal, fully sanctioned, family friendly platform for the toughest warriors of the community to showcase their skills.
For a few of the competitors, it was a way of gaining bragging rights over a specific opponent.
For some, it was used as a means of stepping back in the ring to test their skills.
For others, an opportunity to add another bout to their amateur record, as they prepare for the professional ranks.
Regardless of the goal or desired outcome, each boxer that stepped into the squared circle that night gave it their all.
The Urban Boxing Inaugural Fight Night featured seven evenly matched and compelling bouts, that all entertained.

Winners
Rondell “Jungleboy” Oby
Jungleboy is the winner of the first bout in Urban Boxing League history.
Rondell displayed toughness and tenacity. He used his size, strength, and experience to start the night off with a victory.
It was a fan friendly and action-packed bout, that set the tone for the other fighters on the card.
Julio “Pantera” Gonzalez
Pantera showed his potential to be star in the sport of boxing.
The teenage power puncher made his opponent miss, and landed clean blows at will.
He kept the energy high with the first stoppage of the night (and first stoppage in UBL history).
“Two Hands” Domenic Siggia
Domenic Siggia put on a phenomenal pugilistic performance, earning himself fight of the night honors.
Living up to his nickname, “Two Hands” switched stances between southpaw and orthodox, and landed clean precise punches with both of his fists.
Joshua “OG Oats” Norris
In a closely contested match up, OG Oats was able to pull out a split decision victory.
He was the busier fighter, outworking his opponent to edge out the razor sharp split decision win.
This victory pushes him into the Urban Boxing League Middleweight Championship title picture.
Henry “Herbo” Williams
Henry “Herbo” Williams took care of business in this grudge match.
Although a portion of the audience disputed the decision, Herbo showed his grit and determination, securing a split decision victory.
Africa Wilburn
Africa Wilburn offered some excitement to the Urban Boxing League Heavyweight Division, securing a sensational knockout victory in the evening’s official main event.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this power punching heavyweight prospect.
Pielay Marino
The special attraction co-main event match was a wild and entertaining spectacle.
Pielay was able to dominate most of the action throughout the bout, securing a clear unanimous decision victory to close out the Urban Boxing League Inaugural Fight Night event.
RIP Caleb Jefferson
